Job Description:

PRN - Contract Therapist

  • Applies social service knowledge to collaborate in developing individual service plans for foster youth

  • Provides direct therapy sessions to children in foster care in the following settings: (foster home, school, and/or community)

  • Coordinating with various public agencies (county children's services, courts, schools), as well as doctors and other mental health providers

  • PRN - Contract Position with potential for growing into part-time and full-time

Job Requirements:

  • Committed to continual therapeutic growth and understanding of children with traumatic backgrounds as well as skills in supporting foster families in providing the best care

  • Associates/Bachelors/Masters in Social Work/Counseling or related degree (psychology, counseling, human services, public health, mental health, criminal justice, education, sociology, etc.)

  • Must be able to work independently. Will have weekly connection with supervisor.

  • Potential opportunities to provide training to foster parents

  • Prior experience in billing Medicaid

  • Specify if licensed: LSW/LISW, LPC/LPCC

  • Valid driver's license

  • Reliable transportation

  • Prior child welfare experience preferred but not required

Job Description:

Case Manager

  • Applies social service knowledge to develop individualized service plans for foster youth

  • Provides case management and supportive services (including interventions for children in foster care and the foster families)

  • Networking and partnering with various public agencies (county children's services, courts, schools), as well as doctors and mental health providers

  • Participation in individual and group discussions/trainings on best-practice care for foster youth and families

  • Writing monthly reports and incident reports

  • Full-time salaried
